Richard L. West, CPA, CBA, CM&AA, President of West Consulting Group, Inc., has provided management consulting and business valuation services for a diverse group of companies throughout his professional career. He has been called upon to provide expert witness testimony in many business litigation cases. Mr. West has concentrated his services in these areas for the past eighteen years, but in doing so, he utilizes a lifetime of knowledge and understanding of business transactions, financing techniques, and accounting.

Mr. West graduated from the University of Kansas in 1958 with a bachelors degree in accounting. Thereafter he practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for 28 years. During that time he served many entrepreneurial companies who were involved in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions. In the process of rendering related tax, audit and accounting services, Mr. West has gained a thorough understanding of the economic value of a business enterprise.

West Consulting Group, Inc. provides an array of business consultation services concerning sales, mergers or purchases of business interests. Valuations are an essential foundation to the financial services provided by West Consulting Group, Inc. which also includes mergers and acquisitions consulting, venture capital formation, negotiation with commercial lenders, and private placements. Mr. West is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Business Appraiser as designated by The Institute of Business Appraisers, and is a Certified Merger and Acquisitions Advisor as designated by the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors (AM&AA).

Prior to forming West Consulting Group in October, 1991, Mr. West was a shareholder in the firm of Peters, Gamm, West & Vincent, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the Firm's Corporate Finance activities. In that role, which included the management of a venture capital fund of $60 million, he supervised the valuation of hundreds of businesses for purposes of financing, acquiring or selling.

Mr. West is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers, the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors.
